Parkview medical college was established in 2014 with the aim of creating medical professionals to serve with humility, compassion and becoming future nation builders. We along with all the other medical colleges of the country have adopted the new curriculum developed by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council(BMDC) which has been developed to cater for the changes and advancements made in medical education throughout the world. The new curriculum is more focused in active learning process which will help the medical graduates to be prepared for life long self directed learning. The teaching staff of the medical college is a great mix of amazing academics with highly experienced devoted members along with new young enthusiastic personnel. Some of the pioneers in their fields, many nation renowned doctors with experience of teaching for more than 20 years are providing teaching and guidance. We are committed to ensure that our students not only the best education but also the best care to nurture and flourish. Even in the difficult situation of COVID pandemic online classes helped to make sure that the students learning were never hampered. The college also has a strong presence of international students from Nepal and India along with students from all areas of Bangladesh. The college provides a harmonious environment for all to study and grow. Different cultural festivals, sporting events, national events, and academic events are observed and organized by the college authorities and with students help and active participation. These have not only ensured that the students have some much needed relaxation and diversified experiences but also help in developing their group work qualities, management skills and leadership skills growth. The Parkview Debating Club has continuously proven its merit by winning accolades in regional and national tournaments. Our students are also involved with many charitable organizations with a aim to give back to the society. I joined Parkview Medical College as Professor and Head of the Dept. of Gynaeocology and Obstetrics in 2018 with the aim of ensuring quality healthcare and providing diversified teaching to the young medical students. I am glad to be appointed as the principal of this young prestigious institution and I pledge to continue the effort to provide quality education and ensure appropriate environment to nurture ideal human beings and ideal doctors.
